Tim Harris - CEO & Head of Consultancy. Tim's career began in the development and conduct of trials for military digital communications systems before taking the lead in the technical design of high-integrity, large-scale data systems for use by the UK Government and the European finance sector. He spent a number of years working in commercial and technical positions in $1b mergers of the global telecommunication market. In recent years he has held lead consulting roles in a range of Her Majesty's Government Departments and their systems integrators.
Gordon Fong - COO & Head of e-business Services. Gordon worked at Apple-based telecommunications specialists Mac Connect, 4-Sight and WAM!NET before becoming a consultant and subsequently co-founding e-mango in early 2000. His computing background and initial posts in the customer service side of the IT industry have driven Gordon to instil in the organisation the customer-focussed approach that is crucial to the long-term strategy of any successful business. In his private life, Gordon is a karate instructor, having trained others for over 25 years and competing himself at national and international levels. He also maintains various personal blogs, review websites and likes to travel.
Paul Bateman - Head of Service Management. Paul began his career in the Army (REME), leaving as an electronics Artificer specialising in the Rapier Air Defence System. On leaving the Army Paul worked in the City of London as a Field Service Engineer working for various computer companies such as Wang, Digital Equipment Company (DEC) and Compaq and moving up the service management organisation. Before joining Datacenta Paul was Head of SME Support, EMEA for Hewlett Packard.
Julia McConnell - Head of People and all things finance. Julia joined the company in 1991. Prior to this her career path was law based. Working in Holborn, London with a team specialising in the music industry, she is able to claim having dined with The Sex Pistols (an experience not to be recommended) and meeting The Clash, T-Rex and others. Julia moved to Dorset in 1982 and continued to work with local solicitors until starting her own business making home furnishings etc., enabling her to work from home and bring up her young family.
Outside of work, Julia is usually busy playing with horses. She has two of her own and rides on a regular basis. She is also involved in Riding for the Disabled and is a qualified riding instructor working with a weekly group of children from a specialist school in Totton. In any spare time, she continues to make cushions and crafts for local shops and fairs.
Doina Savu - Compliance and Management Systems. Doina entered the Quality Management field in 2008, joining a leading multinational certification company - Germanischer Lloyd - and was trained as a Lead Auditor. She completed an MBA in Quality Management before deciding to travel to the United Kingdom from her home country Romania to undertake further studies. She joined Kimcell in 2011 to take on the task of implementing and certifying an Integrated Management System compliant with international standards for quality, information security, environment and health and safety, and is now ensuring Kimcell continues to comply and improve.
