e-mango invited to Charity Times roundtable

e-mango Ltd , online business solutions specialists were invited by Charity Times magazine to sit on a roundtable event
involving a range of experts involved across the charity sector. The event was held at the Rookery Hotel in London and included suppliers, consultants and academics which made of an interesting discussion on the topic of virtualisation and how it could benefit the charity sector. Virtualisation is the ability to share computing resources in order to run several "virtual" servers on top of one physical server.
 
Gordon Fong, Managing Director of e-mango, brought in the wider experience and capabilities of the Kimcell group to tackle the technical issues of realising the benefits of virtualisation. Peter Jackson, Operations Director, was also on hand in contributing on what clients and communities see as the virtualisation concept.

 
New Starter for e-mango

e-mango Ltd  have once again expanded their team with recent graduate Ben Clark.
 
Ben graduated from Southampton Solent University this summer obtaining a 1st class honours in Business Information Technology. Having completed his degree course Ben now has the opportunity to take on the role of Project Assistant working alongside the development team and providing support to customers. ‘I have a keen interest in the area of web development and I’m looking forward to working within this successful company.’

Within his first week at the company Ben was involved in the NALC exhibition held at the BIC where he was exhibiting e-mango’s product to local councils and even met Bournemouth’s Mayor!

Gordon Fong, Director said ‘Ben has already proved how quickly he can learn as his first week involved quick training in order to support us at the exhibition.’

Kimcell acquires 25% of JoraPh

Kimcell announces that it has acquired a 25% share in JoraPh Consulting, Telford.  This investment builds on an existing commercial arrangement, which JoraPh entered into early in 2005 with X-Net Ltd – a Kimcell Company - to provide consulting resources for Government projects. A Kimcell director will join the board of JoraPh Consulting.
 
This relationship opens up new markets for the design and hosting of business applications.  Kimcell and JoraPh will continue to develop their relationship with the common goal of growing the market share of each business.
 
Kimcell Director and Managing Director of e-mango and Datacenta , Gordon Fong says, ‘This new partnership with JoraPh opens up many exciting opportunities in web application development and hosting for the group with regards to the Oracle product set. The path is now open to deliver services to the larger enterprises that make use of Oracle in addition to the small and medium sized organisations.’
 
David Phizacklea, Managing Director of JoraPh concluded; ‘We strongly believe in the value and strength that the Kimcell Group brings to JoraPh."

He continued, “I look forward to the start of a long and fruitful partnership between our two companies and the associated benefits that together, our relationship will bring to us and our clients’.

 
e-mango at NALC show

e-mango, the proud sponsor of the National Association of Local Councils conference, showcased their brand new Town and Parish Council content management system, the LC-905 at the conference between 5-7th October 2007.

The NALC conference was a great success and the weather made Bournemouth the perfect location to be!

e-mango also hosted Saturday lunch with a presentation covering the Internet and how implementing effective website solutions enables information to reach communities. Gordon Fong, Managing Director for e-mango says 'I was thrilled that e-mango, as a Bournemouth based company, were sat at the top table with the Mayor of Bournemouth during the gala dinner. It shows how e-mango have grown in strength and further enhanced its range of solutions.'
